Background
Sick + Twisted is committed to an intersectional approach to Disability Justice. We recognize that the rates of disability among Indigenous populations are much higher than in non-indigenous populations in Canada. We also recognize that Indigenous people with disabilities face numerous additional barriers to equity, including having their access needs met. We are committed to supporting Indigenous voices, and expanding our collective understanding of the full breadth of disability experiences.
